Code Information

The Body Control Module (BCM) or Door Control Module (DCM) controls the power door memory lock relay to operate the door lock actuators as part of the keyless entry, speed sensitive auto lock, and driver memory recall functions. DTC B1395 sets when the module detects an unintended ground path on the relay control circuit, meaning the control wire is being pulled to chassis ground when the module is not commanding it low, or the load side has a path to ground that is bypassing the relay contacts.
