DTC B1595 indicates the Body Control Module (BCM) has detected an illegal or invalid input combination from the ignition switch position contacts. The ignition switch typically reports its position (Off, Accessory, Run, Start) to the BCM via multiple discrete inputs, and the BCM monitors these inputs for a logical state at all times. When two or more contradictory positions are signalled simultaneously, or when no valid position is signalled at all, the BCM interprets this as an illegal input and sets B1595.
