Code Information

The Body Control Module or Pedal Control Module monitors the adjustable pedal forward switch input from the driver controlled rocker switch. DTC B1988 sets when the module detects a continuous battery voltage signal on the pedal forward switch input circuit when no such voltage should be present. The pedal forward switch is a momentary contact input commanding the adjustable pedal motor to drive the pedals toward the driver.
