Code Information

The Restraints Control Module (RCM) communicates with each remote satellite impact sensor over a dedicated serial communication line, typically a two wire balanced PSI 5 or similar protocol. DTC B2122 sets when the RCM detects that the communication circuit to the driver side satellite impact sensor has been pulled to ground potential, preventing valid messages from being exchanged with the sensor.
