The Body Control Module (BCM) monitors the door window switch inputs to control power window operation for each door. DTC B2182 sets when the BCM detects an unexpected battery voltage on the front passenger window remote up command circuit from the driver master window switch. This circuit normally rests at a known reference state and only sees a discrete switched input when the up rocker is pressed, so a constant or stray battery voltage tells the BCM the input is shorted.
