Code Information

The Body Control Module (BCM) controls the heated windshield function by energising a high current relay coil, which in turn switches battery voltage to the conductive grid embedded in the windshield laminate. DTC B2248 is set when the BCM detects a circuit failure in the relay coil driver, including open coil winding, short to ground, short to power, or an unexpected feedback voltage when the relay is commanded on or off.
