Code Information

DTC P0034 sets when the Engine Control Module detects a low voltage or high current condition in the control circuit of the turbocharger or supercharger bypass valve, the valve that vents or recirculates charge pressure so the forced induction system is not overloaded. The ECM operates this valve, or its control solenoid, with a switched or pulse width modulated signal and monitors the circuit voltage on its low side driver.
