Code Information

Battery voltage is supplied to the cylinder 2 fuel injector through the fuel pump relay or an injector fuse, and the Engine Control Module opens the injector by switching the low side of the circuit to ground for the calculated pulse width. When injection is not commanded the ECM expects the control wire to return to near battery voltage through the injector winding, so a line that remains low indicates something other than the module driver is pulling it to earth.
