Code Information

The cylinder 6 fuel injector receives battery voltage through the fuel pump relay or an injector fuse, and the Engine Control Module opens the injector by switching the low side of the circuit to ground for the calculated pulse width. When no injection is commanded the module expects the control wire to return to near battery voltage through the injector winding, so a line held low indicates that something other than the ECM driver is earthing the circuit.
