Long Term Fuel Trim (LTFT) is the learned long range correction the ECM applies on top of its base fuel calculation for that bank. DTC P1129 is stored when the Bank 2 long term fuel trim reaches its maximum negative correction limit because the ECM has had to subtract a large amount of fuel to counter a persistently rich mixture.
