Code Information

The electronic throttle control system supplies battery voltage to the throttle actuator motor through the throttle control motor relay and its power feed circuit. DTC P1126 is set when the Engine Control Module (ECM) detects an open circuit or excessively low supply voltage at the throttle control motor, meaning the actuator is not receiving the power it needs to drive the throttle plate. The fault may lie in the relay, the power feed wiring, the actuator motor windings, or the ground path.
