Code Information

The electronic throttle control system (ETCS) uses a DC throttle control motor, integrated into the throttle body, to position the throttle plate in response to the Engine Control Module (ECM). The ECM drives the motor with a duty cycle controlled signal through an H bridge output and monitors motor current and the resulting throttle position feedback.
