Code Information

This DTC sets when the Engine Control Module (ECM) detects a slow or absent response from the air fuel ratio sensor on Bank 2 Sensor 1. The ECM evaluates how quickly the sensor follows commanded changes in the air fuel mixture as it adjusts fuel trim on that bank. If the sensor output does not shift appropriately within the specified time window, indicating sluggish or unresponsive behaviour, this code is stored. A lazy sensor degrades closed loop fuel control on Bank 2, so the driver may notice rough running, reduced economy, and a check engine lamp, and catalyst efficiency codes can follow.
