Code Information

The Sun Load Sensor is a photodiode mounted in the top of the dashboard, usually beneath a small lens near the base of the windscreen, that reports sunlight intensity to the HVAC control module. The module uses this input to bias blower speed and outlet temperature so the climate system compensates for radiant heat gain on bright days.
