Code Information

The HVAC control module operates the mode door actuator to direct airflow inside the heater box between the dash vents, floor outlets, defrost ducts and combinations of those positions. The actuator is a small reversible DC motor coupled to the mode door shaft, with an internal feedback potentiometer or hall sensor reporting actual door position back to the module.
