Code Information

The HVAC control module sets DTC B0418 when it detects an electrical malfunction in the heater–vent–air conditioning (mode) door actuator circuit. The mode door actuator is a small DC motor with an integrated feedback potentiometer that positions the air distribution door to direct conditioned air to the defrost, dash vent, floor, or bi-level outlets.
