Bank 2 sensor 2 is the downstream oxygen sensor after the catalytic converter on the bank that does not contain cylinder number one, and its internal heater quickly brings the sensor to operating temperature after start up. The engine control module controls the heater through a low side driver and monitors the voltage on that circuit.
