Code Information

The skid control ECU is the control module for the ABS, traction control, and vehicle stability control systems, processing wheel speed, yaw, and brake pressure inputs and driving the hydraulic actuator. DTC C1300 sets when the ECU runs its internal self checks and detects a fault within its own processor, memory, or internal circuitry, or receives an implausible internal signal it cannot resolve. Because the module can no longer trust its own operation, it disables ABS, traction control, and stability control and reverts the vehicle to normal, non assisted braking.
