DTC B3867 is set by the Body Control Module (BCM) when it detects a fault in the right side park lamp (parking or position lamp) output circuit, such as an open circuit, a short to ground, or a short to battery voltage. The BCM switches the park lamps through an internal driver and monitors the circuit current and feedback, so it can flag a fault when the measured load does not match the commanded state.
