DTC B3445 relates to the brake (stop) lamp circuit, which the Body Control Module (BCM) controls and monitors so the stop lamps illuminate when the brake pedal is pressed. The BCM commands the brake lamps based on the brake pedal switch input and watches the circuit current and feedback, allowing it to detect a bulb that is open, a circuit that is shorted, or current that does not match the commanded state.
