The Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) control module monitors the left hand front wheel speed sensor circuit for a valid frequency and voltage signal corresponding to wheel rotation. DTC C0035 is set when the module detects an open circuit, short to ground, short to battery, or an implausible or missing wheel speed signal from the left front sensor for a calibrated period while the vehicle is in motion.
