Code Information

On Ford vehicles equipped with Power Take Off (PTO) or programmable idle control, the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) monitors the idle and PTO request circuit to detect a valid input signal when elevated idle or PTO operation is commanded. DTC P325A is set when the PCM detects an open circuit condition in the idle and PTO input circuit, meaning no voltage or an implausible signal is present when a request is expected.
