Code Information

The ABS/VSC ECU monitors the left-hand front wheel speed sensor to calculate individual wheel speed for ABS, traction control, and vehicle stability control functions. DTC C1344 is stored when the ECU detects an abnormal condition in the LH front wheel speed sensor circuit, such as no signal, an erratic or implausible signal compared to other wheels, or a voltage level outside the specified range for a calibrated period while the vehicle is moving. This indicates the ECU cannot reliably determine left-front wheel speed.
