U15A5 is a manufacturer-specific network communication diagnostic trouble code recorded for Mitsubishi vehicles. It belongs to the U-prefix family of codes, which covers inter-module network communication (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, or similar) faults.
Scanning & clearing: Network (U) codes report communication faults between modules. When diagnosing U-codes, checking the vehicle's CAN bus integrity, supply/ground at each module, and reading all modules for related faults is usually the first step.

U15A5 is stored when a control unit cannot receive CAN messages from the FCM, LDW and AHB ECU, the module that manages Forward Collision Mitigation, Lane Departure Warning and Automatic High Beam. With the ignition switched on, if communication with that ECU cannot be established for approximately 2500 milliseconds or more, the receiving unit determines a fault has occurred and sets the code.
