The vehicle would not go into reverse after a replacement auto transmission due to a failed auto lockup.

The vehicle was not engaging into reverse but when it was rolled back a few feet it would go into reverse gear.

In a previous repair, a fault code came up for No 3 solenoid valve.

A replacement valve body was fitted and it was then noted that the gear changes between 2nd and 3rd were harsh.

A new inhibitor switch was fitted with no result, so a second valve body was fitted and the vehicle still had the same harsh gear change.
