Vehicle has had a number of non-starting issues for months.

Battery replaced twice and the alternator also replaced but again a few weeks later owner experienced similar problems.

On this occasion the battery light was occasionally flashing up as well.

Owner was asked as to what had occurred previously.

First time, all it took was a new battery because the old battery died (suspected it was flat).

On the second occasion the battery was replaced because they thought it was under warranty and then they found the alternator was not charging.

The alternator apparently had a blown diode plate and internal regulator failure.
