Customer Complaint

R/H rear axle seal leaking.

Problem Summary

Inner axle seal had been replaced. The wheel bearing felt and sounded fine and was reassembled. Hand brake shoes were replaced and brake fluid flushed.

Vehicle was driven approximately 100Km and returned due to smoke and smell.

The axle, disc rotor/handbrake drum and outer portion of diff housing was overheating.
