The Electronic Traction Control (ETC) light comes on, the engine stalls or runs very rough until you turn off the engine and restart.

In second gear at approx 2500-3000rpm the ETC light comes on and the engine loses power. At this point, if the vehicle is not put into neutral, the engine will stall.

When the fault occurs the following fault codes are stored in the engine computer.
P1270 Engine rpm speed limiter reached
P2105 Throttle actuator control forced engine shut down
P2110 Throttle actuator control system forced limited rpm.
