Customer Complaint

Not able to accelerate after timing belt replacement at another workshop. The vehicle was returned twice to the previous shop but not fixed.

Problem Summary

Seems to accelerate in first gear only unless air mass meter is disconnected.

Can accelerate through with very minimal throttle application.

Has a high idle (2000 rpm) until throttle blipped then drops to 600 rpm.

Roughness noted at idle.
