Problem Summary

Found that the Engine Control Module (ECM) reads engine speed fine but the transmission module loses the engine speed signal after a while. Once the transmission loses engine speed signal the MIL comes on and the following codes are logged:
P0335 - crankshaft speed sensor.
P1700 - SVS from the transmission.
P0700 - MIL request.
P0725 - Engine speed.
01895 - Torque circuit fault.
