Customer Complaint

Goes into limp mode or runs rough, intermittent issues.

Problem Summary

Intermittent poor running like in limp mode. No engine check light on dash at all.

Previous repairer fitted new injector driver to Bank 2. Original issue with the previous repairer was P062D, Driver bank1

They cleaned all connections, tested injectors, checked fuel pressures and engine data, all tested OK. Swapped over Bank1 and Bank2 drivers, vehicle driven and the issue moved to Bank2. They replaced the suspect driver and all appeared to be good for a few days.

Now worse than before. The Code P062E randomly comes up, usually when engine dead cold or driven at high revs on cold engine.

Code:
P062E- No2 injector driver circuit performance.

Owner also advised that the previous owner had the main engine harness replaced and had the ECU remapped because of issues with the MAP pulling up a code. Vehicle has a 4 inch exhaust.
Since remap no more MAP codes.
