Customer Complaint

No power and engine check lamp on.

Previous repairs carried out by the customer himself, after buying a cheap code reader and replacing several items.

Another workshop had recommended HP fuel pump replacement, which was the next item on the customers list.

Problem Summary

The car had no power and was very slow to accelerate. Engine check lamp was on with the below fault codes present:
- P0400 - EGR Malfunction
- P0100 - MAF/IAT Sensor Malfunction
- P0703 - Brake Switch Malfunction

Ended up tracing this fault to short in the neutral switch wire.
