Engine MIL on and misfire evident after recent battery replacement.

History provided by customer:
- Battery went flat after the ignition was left on for some time
- Prior to this, the ignition had been off for an extended period
- RACQ replaced battery in vehicle
- Car began misfiring within 30 seconds after restarting and engine MIL was on.

Confirmed that the engine MIL was remaining illuminated, indicating a permanent fault.
Also experienced the distinct engine misfire.

During the initial inspection noticed that this vehicle had a very poor service history – 40,000 kms service drain intervals.

Ended up rectifying this fault with a power down and relearn procedure.
