The key remote will not lock or unlock the doors, however the central locking button on the dash locks and unlocks the doors fine. The problem has been present for a few months.

Both remotes were tested and neither remote would operate the door locks. A scan tool was connected and no fault codes were found. The vehicle was taken to a locksmith who tried to recode the keys and remote to the vehicle with no success.
