Customer Complaint

Strange intermittent issues with a momentary cut out. Very intermittent.

Vehicle had been to a number of repair shops and dealers over a 6 to 12-month period with no luck.

The PCM was changed as well as a number of other components including the crank sensor and so on.

Vehicle towed in due to distance to get to us and intermittently cuts out while driving.

Problem Summary

We were advised that the PCM had previously been sent out for repairs and also told that the immobiliser had been bypassed from the vehicle as well as other components including the CAS. When the vehicle arrived it started and ran fine.

Systems scanned and only one code for no communication at BCM with PCM, but when scanning in PCM it showed it was communicating?

The code did clear and not come back, vehicle driven extensively over 10km distances.
Checked all the power feeds, fuses, connections and relays, had a look at main relays and contacts, looked OK visually. They had been swapped previously.
