After removing motor for other work we were getting code p2457 Cooling system EGR cooler pump circuit A {{pic1}}.

Check circuit, found wiring diagram - 12 v Supplied by the main relay - ground via pin 29 ECM - check for power supply and had continuity to pump - you could hear the pump working on startup - disconnected pump from the wiring harness and confirm pump operation using power probe, seemed to log code as pending then on 2nd startup would turn check engine light on (along with another code ??).
