The engine cut out while driving.

Found that the injector pump mount studs had broken and the pump had twisted around breaking the wires to the pump. Fixed the wires and now the engine starts but free revs and blows large amounts of black smoke from the exhaust and makes knocking noises. Removed the fuel pump and injectors to be overhauled. Refitted the pump and injectors but the engine still wants to free rev, knock and blow smoke.
