Check why Engine Check Light on and poor performance - revs limited?

There are a number of items that will create this specific fault with this model vehicle and 2.4L VTEC engine.

We have had faults due to:
1. engine oil level low (below dipstick.)
2. incorrect oil viscosity issues and well as contamination.
3. blocked oil gallery filter strainer screen located on the other side of the engine, accessible when the power steering pump removed. Shown Image {{pic1}}
4. Control valve shaft jamming in the VCT assembly.

This report is as we found this specific vehicle and is only one issue.
