The engine won't turn off.

Problem Summary

The engine won't stop when the key is turned off. If you keep trying by turning the key off and on it will eventually stop. When the key is turned off the instrument panel turns off. If you remove the main ECU relay the engine will stop. When you refit the relay it energises when it is refitted. This relay stays energised even when the engine stops with the key.
