The vehicle stops and sometimes will not start.

When the engine starts it idles fine. When you rev the engine sometimes it stalls and then will not always start back up. At times you can rev it with no problems and then it feels like a flat spot and sometimes just cuts out and will have trouble starting. The problem appears to be getting worse.
