The vehicle would start intermittently, or crank over for only a couple of seconds and was then dead on key.

This was a strange and ongoing problem. It was extremely intermittent in failing, but was slowly becoming worse.

The security hand would come up flashing in the dash with no crank. When the key was turned off and then on again, the flashing security hand would extinguish.

The vehicle would start or just crank and not fire up.
