Customer Complaint

This Landcruiser was 4.2L TDI Diesel 1HD-FTE.

The air conditioning system was on all the time. The compressor clutch would not cycle.

Problem Summary

As soon as the interior fan turned on the A/C clutch would engage even if the A/C switch was off. The internal temperature control was not working and the interior fan speed decreased over time even when on full speed.

The vehicle history was that this was a repairable write off that the customer bought once it was fixed.
