Car towed in. Hard to start/Rough idle/No power.
Previous recent history at 2 other mechanics, new turbocharger and cylinder head gasket replacement.
Owner could not say if the issue was present before the other work was performed.

Crank engine - sounds OK - long crank period before engine starts and engine stalls. After 3 cold starts the engine idles, but poorly.
Black smoke from the tailpipe when revving engine.
