No initial running complaint. The vehicle was brought in for repair of oil leaks.

After replacing cam seals, rocker cover gaskets, spark plugs, and fitting a new timing belt, the engine developed a fault where it would not idle unless the throttle was held open. It would cut out at 2500 rpm, with scope data showing the injectors being cut off while the ignition system continued operating. Cam and crank sensor patterns remained active during injector cut-off. Airflow meter readings did not drop during the fault.
