The customer reported that the transmission shifts erratically first thing in the morning. Warning lights including the traction control light, cog light, and eventually the engine warning light would appear but then clear themselves.

When cold, the vehicle experienced erratic gear changes along with transmission-related warning lights. After some driving and as the transmission warmed up, the fault would disappear. On the freeway, additional torque converter–related codes would appear.
