The customer reported that the vehicle intermittently would not crank, with the suspicion that the immobiliser was preventing start-up.

The vehicle would occasionally fail to crank in the mornings, although disconnecting and reconnecting the battery would usually allow the vehicle to start. Once started, it generally ran without further issues for the day. The fault occurred with both keys, so a faulty key was ruled out.
