The vehicle surges while driving, with the tachometer fluctuating by 500–1000 rpm. The customer also reported a random humming noise when applying the brakes, which seemed to come from the ABS module.

The vehicle exhibited consistent surging in engine rpm, particularly noticeable when using cruise control. Despite the tachometer movement, the vehicle did not physically surge or “pig root.” The transmission shifted smoothly with no drivability complaints outside of the rpm fluctuation. Initial checks for fault codes returned no errors.
