The warning lamp illuminates approximately every 300 km, indicating that a DPF regeneration is required. The customer initiates regeneration using the dash button, but once the process completes, the check engine lamp comes on and fault code P244A is logged.

The vehicle consistently requested frequent DPF regenerations, and each regeneration attempt would trigger fault code P244A – Diesel Particulate Filter Differential Pressure Too Low. Despite a new DPF pressure sensor being fitted, the code persisted. Initial inspection of the DPF, exhaust, intake, and sensor hoses showed no issues.
