The vehicle was towed into the workshop after overheating severely. Following fitment of a second-hand engine, the vehicle would crank but not start.

After the replacement engine was installed, the vehicle remained a crank no start. Fault codes P0606 ECM/PCM processor and P062D fuel injector driver circuit performance (bank 1) were logged and returned immediately after clearing. Fuel pressure during cranking was within range at 345 bar, but injector operation was irregular, with only cylinders 1 and 4 firing briefly.
