The customer reported that after the vehicle was washed and steam cleaned at a detailer, it had a flat battery and would not crank. Attempts to jump start it failed, and there was no communication with the PCM.

The vehicle was a no-crank, no-start with no PCM communication. Despite testing, fuses and relays appeared intact, and both PCM and BEM were sent away for testing. Injectronics reported a fault with the BEM, but once refitted, the problem persisted. The car remained in the workshop for an extended period without resolution.
